SEMINAR ON "BLUE HELMETS FOR PEACE: CONTRIBUTION OF BANGLADESH IN UN PEACEKEEPING MISSIONS"

Department of Peace, Conflict and Human Rights under the Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies (FSSS), Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) is going to organize a seminar titled "Blue Helmets for Peace: Contribution of Bangladesh in UN Peacekeeping Missions". This seminar is a testament to Bangladesh's significant contributions to global peace and security through its participation in United Nations (UN) peacekeeping operations. Since its independence in 1971, Bangladesh has been a steadfast supporter of international peacekeeping efforts, deploying troops, police, and civilian personnel to some of the world's most challenging conflict zones. This seminar seeks to provide a detailed background on Bangladesh's role in UN peacekeeping missions, highlighting its motivations, experiences, challenges, and achievements in contributing to the maintenance of peace and stability worldwide.
