Curriculum Development Section
Curriculum Development Section is one of main unit of OEFCD. The curriculum development process systematically organizes what will be taught, who will be taught, and how it will be taught. Each component affects and interacts with other components. For example, what will be taught is affected by who is being taught (e.g., their stage of development in age, maturity, and education). Methods of how content is taught are affected by who is being taught, their characteristics, and the setting. Additionally, during the curriculum development process, this approach includes four subtypes of curriculum designs: subject-area design, discipline design, broad-field design, and correlation design.
Functions of Curriculum Development Section
a. Collect and review the existing curriculum of each department.
b. Develop and implement the curricula supporting to students performance and professional growth
c. In coordination with faculty members, observe teachers to make recommendations on changes to the curricula considering the scope, key milestone and curricula.
d. Manage, create and maintain set up documentation for compliance and accreditation purposes for all departments. This includes syllabus, class routines, textbooks etc.
e. Upon collaboration with instructional designer, evaluate and update existing courses.
f. Perform any other duties as assigned by superior authority.
