The Centre for Higher Studies and Research (CHSR) at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) recently organized a proposal presentation event for faculty members and officers  funded by UGC for the fiscal year 2023–24. The event, which took place on June 12, 2024, at the CHSR Seminar Hall (VCR No. 204), provided project directors with a platform to showcase their research proposals.

Distinguished attendees included Dr. Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor of BUP; Brigadier General Mohammad Shahiduzzaman Khan, Dean of CHSR; and Captain Mahbubur Rashid, Director of CHSR. Subject specialists such as Professor Dr. Murshida Bintey Rahman from Jagannath University, Professor Dr. Jebunnessa from Jahangirnagar University, and Professor Dr. Md. Moniruzzaman from Jagannath University enriched the presentations with their expertise.

Dean Brigadier General Mohammad Shamsul Arefin from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at BUP, and Dean Brigadier General Md Mizanur Rahman Khan from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at BUP, also honored the occasion with their presence.

The event saw presentations of proposals by nine project directors, illustrating the academic rigor and innovative research endeavors within the BUP community.
