In a momentous event on January 12, 2024, the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) hosted a distinguished orientation programme for MPhil and PhD researchers organised by the Centre for Higher Studies and Research (CHSR). The session commenced at 4:00 p.m. and 30 dedicated researchers were eager to embark on their academic journey.

The orientation began with a warm welcome speech delivered by Brig Gen Mohammad Shahiduzzaman Khan, ndc, afwc, psc, the esteemed Dean of CHSR. His inspiring words set the tone for an intellectually stimulating experience for the researchers.

Captain Mahbubur Rashid (L), psc, BN, the Director of the Centre for Higher Studies and Research (CHSR), took the podium next to outline the comprehensive course structure that would guide the scholars through their research endeavours. His articulate presentation provided a roadmap for the academic pursuits awaiting the attendees.

The event was graced by two distinguished guests of honour, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mozahidul Islam from Jahangirnagar University and Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan from the University of Dhaka. Their presence added scholarly eminence to the occasion.

The crowning moment came with the arrival of the Chief Guest, the respected Pro Vice Chancellor of the Bangladesh University of Professionals, Prof. Dr. Khondokar Mokaddem Hossain. His gracious presence symbolised the university's commitment to nurturing advanced research and academic excellence.
