With the arrival of the monsoon, BUP Literature and Drama Club held called Barsha Mitali-1430. To embrace this year’s monsoon, the Club organized a multifaceted competition and cultural presentation on July 19 and 20, 2023, focusing on ‘Monsoon and Friendship’.
The competition included short story writing, prescribed poetry recitation, photo story, self-composed poetry recitation, drawing competition, and illustrated storytelling.
On July 20, 2023, the main festival unfolded, enhancing the festival's beauty manifold. This day featured traditional cultural performances such as dance, songs, poetry recitations, and plays. The campus was adorned with various artistic creations, including famous artworks like Starry Night by Van Gogh. The esteemed Vice-Chancellor of BUP, Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil, PhD was present as the chief guest in the prize giving ceremony. Barsha Mitali has found its place in the realm of friendship, ushering in a new horizon.
