Biography
Ms. Tahmina Akteris a newly appointed Lecturer of Management in the Department of BusinessAdministration- General at Bangladesh University of Professionals. She joinedthe department in February 2025, bringing with her a strong academic foundation,a passion for teaching, and a commitment to contributing to the academic andprofessional development of her students. Before joining to BangladeshUniversity of Professionals, Ms. Akter served as a lecturer of Management inthe Department of Business Administration at Prime University ofBangladesh. Ms. Aktercompleted both her BBA major in Management Studies and MBA major in HRM fromthe University of Barishal, where she consistently excelled in her studies. Shegraduated at the top of her class, earning the highest CGPA in both programs.During her academic career, she was awarded with dean’s award in recognition ofher outstanding academic performance. Her researchinterests include GHRM, career management, information management andcontemporary management issues. Her Master’s thesis, titled “Green human resource management andjob pursuit intention: mediating role of corporate social responsibility andorganizational reputation” has published in Scopus index Q1 journal.
