Biography

Samantha Alam is a lecturer at Bangladesh University of Professionals, department of Disaster Management and Resilience. SHe joined the department under Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) as a Lecturer in the year 2023.She completed her graduation and post graduation from University of Dhaka securing position in top 3.Her research area of interest includes, socio-economic implications of disaster, gender, disaster risk reduction, risk communication, climate change, disaster preparedness and adaptation
