Biography
Fateeha did BS(hons) in Botany, University of Dhaka in 2015. She completed masters from the same department. Later on went for MRes from Imperial College London in Molecular Plant and Microbial Sciences. Before joining BUP, she worked as Research Assistant in USAID and Bangladesh National Nutrition Council. She is passionate about plants and associated biotic and abiotic stress. Apart from research and teaching, she loves travelling and cooking. 1. Molecular plant breeding, photosynthesis, wheat blast, late blight of potato, drought tolerance, cyanobacteria
2. Currently a project is going on where I am co-PI stated: Correlation between seagrass and habibat of shark found in Bay-of-Bengal.
Moreover, I have active collaboration with Genome lab of BCSIR, Unversity of Dhaka and Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agriculture University where my grad students are working.
Moreover, I have assigned to design the roof-top garden of newly established academic buildings of the university.
Had supervised 3 undergrad thesis students, currently supervising 4 undergrad students.
