Biography
Farah Tasnim is serving as a faculty member in the Department of Disaster Management & Resilience (DMR).She has pursued her Post-graduation (MSS) and Graduation (BSS) in DHSM from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), in 2020 and 2019 respectively, with distinction. She has received the highest accolade for academic distinction, the Chancellor’s Gold Medal at 6th Convocation of BUP in 2023. The urge to serve humanity and the environment has inspired her to pursue a career in the field of disaster management. The aspire of being a researcher has thrived her to publish articles and reports in peer-reviewed international journals regarding disaster risk reduction and public awareness. The field of study has primarily grown her interests in Disaster Risk Reduction, Community Resilience, Public Health and Gender.
